Poetry...!!

Soo, i have a huge interest in poetry, and i wanna see what you guys know, like and/or wanna know about it, post youre favorite fragments here, or tell me something about your taste on writers, or just ask for some specifc poetry if you cant find it, you can even post self-made poetry

idk u anyone may like it or not but this is what i have hope u like it ^-^
God is the greatest artist
To whom no one can compare,
Streaking sunsets very beautiful,
Painting rainbows in the air.

Brushing green the hillside scene,
Blotting blue the sky above,
Splashing flowers 'cross the ground beneath,
Shading white clouds with His glove.

Of the wonders God has made
There is none that is so fair
As the smile He paints upon your face
When you realize He's there.

lol yeah god is the best painter

a song a verse
a rhyme no curse
these thing rehersed
thru time untold
the story's told
bout man and Girl
and Love's recurl
Gone r days when love was true
these are days where love is few
Try Young people tho
they do
Love Is oftten lost

thats a lot of words to say usualy young love doesnt end well

God's Flight
On the ground sits a bird
that's too afraid to fly.
Beautiful wings could make it soar,
but the pain of past failure is it's lonesome cry.

God has said unto this bird,
"Trust and have faith in me,
for I will carry you in your flight.
The miracle of life is waiting for you to see."

The bird said to God, "But I can't fly.
I am weak. I will fall and feel pain
It's happened before when I tried to fly.
I'm afraid of being hurt again."

His voice soft and reassuring, God said to the bird,
I created you, and I will protect you.
Your lonesome cry I have heard.
Have faith in me. That's all you need to do.

So, stand up, bird, and spread your wings.
The wings I lovingly created to let you fly.
If you fall I'll pick you up,
and lift you back into the sky."

With trembling legs and unsure wings
the bird finally looked to the sky.
It took a deep breath, and took the chance.
The bird began to fly.

"Thank you, God, for believing in me.
Thank you for giving me wings.
Thank you for your protecting hands.
Your glory I will now sing."

God smiled unto the bird
in its majestic flight.
"Little bird, I'll always be with you,
and will protect you with all my might.

You may stumble. You may fall.
That doesn't mean that I don't care.
I will watch over you, in case you need help,
and then I'll be right there."

The little bird, once so scared,
learned to soar to new heights.
The occasional fall no longer scared the bird,
choosing to have faith in Gods flight.

those are beautiful words, its a shame its such a big lie

Roses are red violets are blue(purple) f**k with me and I'll shoot you.

Lol i think Poison's was my favorite

Listen to the silence,
Feel the breeze embrace,
Look into the stars,
look into the moon.

Tell me what you feel.
Does it make you calm,
Are you safe under the King of night,
Are you safe with me?

Tell me everything you know.
Give up your deepest secrets.
My arms are open to you.
Imagine me as your world.

Because I wont let you fall.
I will keep you up.
I will reach your every call.
No hope to ever giving you up.

WOw YOU GUYS ARE ALL REALLY GOOD!

Here is my addition....I warn you its a little dark, I wrote it when I was a different person....The thing is when you read my poem you will see its a little strange for the tempo changes. Usually I read this one out loud so that you can understand how im feeling in each line. Yet if you have ever felt what I felt I am sure you guys can figure it our for yourself. Once more its a little Dark.

The Descent Of My Sanity

Am I worthy to live a life full of love
For a moment or two I might sit here
And believe I'm pure as a white dove
Yet my moment will not last long
For Reality shall reemerge so strong,
Followed closely by my shrouded past
Reminding me that no matter what i do
Memories of my past shall always last
I know there's no gain without pain
But whats the point if I'm going insane
My life is constantly in turmoil
It's like someone placed me in hot water
And then they just left me to boil
It just seems that this depression
It's like another level of repression
I'm taking it all in letting nothing out
Suffering, thats what my life's about
They say that whatever goes up mist come down
But can some one please tell me
If it still is the same the other way around
How can I continue to deny
That my life as it is
Is nothing but a lie
How can I continue,
Continue to survive
When will I be ready,
Ready to finally die
All you posers I hate you,
you and your very wretched soul
Cuz you claim to feel pain,
when you never paid a single toll
I'm so shrouded by darkness
My own shadow consumes me
They were all cruel and heartless
When they didn't even know me
My search seems so pointless
Will I ever feel an epiphany
One that can rid my pain
And change my mentality?
I have some hope for now
But soon, it might leave me......

The future is all we can look forward too.

I wish I could have been there by your side...
For all the times you've weeped and cried.

Know from my heart, what I say is true...
That I hurt for the pain you have been through.

Never alone shall you be,
Someday, freedom you will see

May your hopes and dreams come true,
No matter where you are, I'll always be here for you.

Hinata I loved your last poem, made me feel really warm inside. =D

P.S. I know my spelling is horrid....ill edit it later lol

I guess ill post this, wrote it while i was on the train and couldnt sleep, started thinking about a certain someone and well here is the poem xD



I know that its bad for me
But poison tastes so good
Even when it tears me apart inside
Like only poison could

Its in human nature to want some poison
Whether its a person, an item, or a habit
You never care if its good for you
All that matters is that you have it

So you can go against human nature
Stop here and make your stand
But I'm gonna pick Poison
And go down with her hand in my hand

all things are not fine
used to think i could be
smoething more than just me
not sure anymore that i have got
what it takes to to carry on
so pull the trigger yes or no
i got this glock in my hand
